Harrods
Collina MEP have been an integral part of Kendall Kingscott’s Harrods consulting team to deliver a number of projects across the Harrods Estate.
The largest project to date is the replacement of the external façade lighting for the entire Knightsbridge store. This involves the removal of over 15,000 light fittings and replacing these with new, energy efficient LED lighting. The lighting has been designed to be intelligent and linked to a central control system allowing lighting scenes and programmes to be added and utilised by the client.
Other notable projects include the new Harrods Chocolate Cold Store located beneath the Knightsbridge store (Basement Level). This project involved additional cooling capacity within the space to maintain the temperature required for chocolate storage for the store.
To assist Harrods with the ongoing operation of the building, Collina has also been appointed to provide new power to the new site-wide fire alarm system.

Richmond Motor Group, Saltbox Dealership
Collina MEP was appointed by Richmond Motor Group to carry out the performance design and client monitoring role for the new multi car dealership located on Saltbox Road in Bognor Regis.
The dealership consisted of multiple brand car showrooms along with a large workshop area for servicing and repairs.
The facility has been designed with both energy consumption and carbon reduction in mind. This included all electric systems with no gas or oil being used on site as a heat source. The facilities heating and cooling is provided by a mixture of air source heat pumps and direct electric radiant panels. All new LED lighting was installed throughout with a large photovoltaic array and battery storage installed on the roof to offset the electricity consumption.
